He really needed a superhero mask to complete the ensemble, not that fruity helmet.

Impressions:

A very lame episode. The first half was Sugata exploring Synapse and learning a little bit about it, but it was little more than him going "Huh? What? Huh? What?" and then explaining everything just before deus ex time’s-conveniently-up whisks him away to safety. Unfortunately, that meant that it was about 5 minutes of walking around and watching nothing happen before two minutes of expositional dumping. Let’s try to make a narrative here, eh? More discovery, less abruptly spewing out information before a cry of "Sugata away!" "I shall return."

The second half was sort of a try at comedy, but I think the show had all its energy sucked out of it by that point. Tomoki used a random gizmo that Sohara knocked off of Synapse in part one to reconstruct his Panties Robo and go ride it around briefly before Sohara reduced it back to scrap. I expect more from this show than a montage of Tomoki going about his daily routine with a robot surreptitiously pasted onto the background and Astraea blowing herself up because she’s too stupid to remember to throw dynamite.
