Night Raid #11 — A Brief Poetic Interlude

June 14th, 2010

Because lord knows, nothing else of note happened in the first 21:55 of this episode.

Impressions:

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
This show is boring.
Your plot twists suck.

I think my iambic pentameter may need work.

This episode was literally everybody standing around doing abso-bloody-lutely nothing while the production values plummetted even more. They didn’t even do a good job syncing the voices to the characters this week, which resulted in a ton of flapping lips moving a good second before or after characters stopped talking. The entire episode was just talking heads whining about doing the ‘right’ thing until Aoi was shocked to find Kazura in the middle of the enemy base. Kazura then gave a little "for the Horde future!" shout, which is totally why he’s a dedicated secret agent. It’s clearly not for his quick grasp of situations. He stares straight at Sakurai for a good four or five seconds for dramatic effect before suddenly being surprised.
