Impressions:

Meh. I know that it’s obvious that I’m not terribly enamored of the show to begin with, but this episode was far more tedious than it had any right to be. Kann-u wanders into the ancillary members of Wu that we didn’t hit the first time around who decide to put on a traditional ancient Chinese Sentai play along with the Yuan group where they kill the audience with their horrible wailing. Mostly what it taught me is that Enshou has probably turned her entire family sterile since she is apparently extremely radioactive. Let us all have a moment of silence for the imminently dead Yuan family, poisoned by radiation until they wasted away and died.

But hey, on the upside, apparently Batai fights a bunch of Chinese cavewomen next week while the rest of the party takes a bath. That’s certainly a step up from listening to high-pitched little girls shriek for twenty minutes.
