Million KNights Vermilion Promotional Stuff

Man, I really haven’t been paying attention to the doujin scene lately… 

Anyway, MKV comes from NRF, who did the rather spectacular Big Bang Beat, and it wasn’t great just because it was based on AliceSoft’s stuff. Unfortunately… this one doesn’t really look anywhere near as good, but I guess we’ll see. It’s out next week. Maybe I’ll play some while waiting for Werk to fix the inevitable problems they’ll introduce with the Perfect edition.

    LOL. I’m sure you’ve heard already if you’ve been paying attention, but this game’s a piece of shit. Everyone who was super hyped about it from the MB community has already deleted the game. It’s just…ugh…

    Also LOL NO NETPLAY.

    Yeah. Just forget this mess even happened. It’s already anti-hype.

    Sure it has some ridiculous loops that keep it from “tournament play”, but it isn’t as bad as when Melty Blood started out. Remember Arc’s one button infinite loop? Plus, players can force a player’s computer to hang on Actress Again, as seen in tournaments. MB is not significantly better than this, at least for now it isn’t.

    The graphics, character design and music are great. One button ultras that should have been implemented ages ago are also present. It feels faster paced yet more relaxed than most other Doujin games.

    This game holds great potential. I could easily see it surpass the popularity of Melty in a year or so.
