Actress Again Riesbyfe Final Boss: Dust of Osiris

September 21st, 2008

Well, Sion’s ultimate vampire form is certainly no Onslaught or G.Akiha, but I guess it’s relatively menacing. Rrarr rrar, I’m huuuuuuge and eeeeeeevil!

Thank to Sibladeko for posting it.

5 Shouts From the Peanut Gallery

  • Why is there a time limit on picking (or equipping?) your character? That seems obnoxious.

  • Aroduc says:

Well, it -is- an arcade game and a fighter. That’s not really unusual for either.

  • AGear2Ax says:

More important than the time limit, why the final boss bit the dust so fast and easy? it’s an arcade and the final boss is always the most difficult thing to defeat but this video just show other story.

  • sibladeko says:

Arcade games, in general, do have time limits on almost everything, time not spent putting quarters in equal money lost.
With a medium-sized cast it isn’t a problem, but when CvS2 location tests came out in Japan (for some odd reason I was there at the time) the sheer amount of characters combined with the tiny portraits and short time limit gave me headaches finding who I wanted to use.

Probably to just show Ries’s ending quickly.

Which basically is something like Sion insisting she became the Dust of Osiris from her own will, and Ries disagrees.
Then they fight, and then the Philosopher’s stone or what not starts disintegrating, which supposedly had the ability to cure vampires.
Except it doesn’t, Warakia somehow implanted that in Sion’s mind, she realizes this and thanks Ries for saving her twice.

Considering that Ries is already dead this ending makes perfect sense!
    For a Type-Moon game. のヮの

If time is money, I wonder why close to half the video is text o.0
