Comiket 73: Dynagon Trial

Yes yes, still making my way through the dregs. If the style doesn’t make it immediately obvious, Dynagon is Platine Dispositif’s latest offering, and like many of them, relies strongly on very basic mechanics filled with overwhelming the screen with stuff. You can shoot, dig holes, and then detonate enemies that fall in the holes which sets off a chain of explosions. Of course, you get hurt if you just wade into a mass of enemies, but by just setting off a chain, it generates a ton of health items. The real challenge is the ticking clock. The run above is stage 1 on easy. On the harder mode, you have about half as much time to start, which makes things… difficult to say the least. Still just a short trial though, so we’ll see how the final version turns out.
