11eyes #06 — Sexual Healing

"Forget a doctor, I’ve got a condom."

Impressions:

You know, I really should see what kind of strange demented Japanese mythological nonsense spawned the whole "sex helps with healing" thing. Probably borrowed from the karma sutra. I mean, granted, Misuzu was just naked here, but they’re not fooling anybody. Maybe it’s just me, but while I’m the throes of horrible crippling pain and being beseiged by visions of old men standing on a mountain of corpses… I think some clumsy girl fumbling at my genitals is the last thing I’d want. How about… I don’t know… a sedative? Or maybe some aspirin? How much viagra did she have to pump him full of to even make him… er… functional through the horrible horrible pain? Maybe Kakeru’s just turned on by corpses and Verard, which is probably a far more disturbing thought. Of course, I suppose Japan’s still big into the whole suppository thing, so maybe all their doctors are just obsessed with sticking phallic things into other things and hoping that it turns out for the best.

AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaanyway… clumsy bad machinated melodrama created by Misuzu getting naked for no real reason and then Yuka walking in on them. Then Kakeru didn’t even have the testicular fortitude to kiss her when she was begging for it. More evidence for the Kakeru x Verard ending I suppose. The giant shot of Yuka’s ass in the middle of that scene was… well… it was a giant shot of somebody’s ass in the middle of bad melodrama. It was almost welcome. The only other thing of note this episode was Kukuri showing off her power to the others. That’d be great, if the audience hadn’t seen it over a month ago. Par for the course, I guess.

Preview:

Yuka finally gets her power.

7 Shouts From the Peanut Gallery

  • Kresnik says:

Isn’t the pacing is a little too fast..? I’d say it’s 2 episodes too fast.

  • Memento_Mori says:

Well, maybe they’re aiming for the “true” ending with kukuri’s plot device.

  • クレナイユメ says:

At least another fight with Acadia is set this episode. And Kukuri’s special power is finally shown… about two knights too late.

  • Tensho says:

Kukuri was much weaker at the beginning in the game. I knew it from the beginning that they are trying to emphasize her power since when truly awaken, she is even stronger than Liselotte and Shiori.

sexual healing? in my times we used to call it mana transfer

  • The Phantom says:

Kakeru should settle it with misuzu and get rid of that boring clingy girl yuka.
