As expected, just a clips episode plus recap from Hotaru and Natsuko while they played a lot of the character themes and insert songs as they talked about each one. They used the fancy version of the second ED, so assumably we’ll be getting the new one next week. The only new shots were the eyecatches of Double Face, and the next ep preview above. Back to real episodes next week for Fujioka’s challenge.

I was told that this show was about Catholic lesbian school girls shrieking "Onee-sama!" endlessly, and yet, if we clearly observe the first episode, there are Catholic lesbian school girls dressing men in feudal costumes. What is this? Catholic Lesbian Schoolgirl Project Runway? Well, the guys do appear to be gay after all, so I guess that answers that. There was also some pretty hot and heavy handclasping this episode that I know got at least me all bothered under the collar.
Okay, so they did yell "Onee-sama!" almost start to finish, but I wasn’t really paying attention anyway. There are evil shadows in my TV that need killing. I figured some would be curious about the OP though, so have at you!

I wonder what the difference is between a Wichborg and a Witchborg. Making fun of the Engrish aside, the demo’s been out for awhile, so this one’s not a huge surprise. The music is still terrible (though the rock themed boss with the Hall of the Mountain King remix made me smile), the bosses are jokes, and the random dress up bonus still confuses me. Still, the gimmick is relatively unique and makes it interesting to mess around with. You have no bombs, just a teleport that stops time so you can reposition yourself. It does veer towards the frustratingly hard in parts, especially the stage where you can’t kill any enemies for the first third, but it’s mostly pretty easy and certainly not a bad game to mess around with for an hour or two… assuming you keep it on mute.

Amazingly, a little doujin game that my poor laptop cannot handle because its video card is weak. Poor laptop has had a tough time lately. However, I’d just like to point out the VA cast here. Horie Yui and Kugimiya Rie on the protagonists (gee, obvious enough in those clips?), along with Yuko Gotoh (boo) and Tsuji Ayumi (hooray Guchuko!) among others filling out the rest of the cast. For every one of you who spazzed out about Maikaze hiring professional VAs, once again, suck it. I’m sure this is worth far more than the 20 minutes of whatever paltry entertainment you can wring out of that stone.
