Just the usual Japanese video rundown of staff and cast information for the upcoming season. There’s still a little over two weeks left before the spring season begins and promos are just now starting to get posted as this season’s stuff winds down. I’ll have a more in-depth (for a certain definition at any rate) preview up next weekend-ish. Finals and whatnot to take care of before actually giving any of this stuff more than just a cursory glance. Aaand, back to them I go.
My own will be up probably December 26th or 27th. There’s next to nothing going on that week. The only two shows beginning before January 5th already have either three seasons predating them or three years. A week and a half before and right after the Squid-thing ends is a perfect spot. I’m sure there will be a glut of promos at Comiket anyway (December 29-31). It’ll give me a chance to play Corona (which I’m hearing is astoundingly mediocre) and Dragon Girl RecettearHanakoi anyway, not to mention whatever shows up at Comiket. And work on translating I guess.
The broadcast for everything for next season is starting to settle in, but unfortunately, basically everything is finishing up this coming week leaving a giant gaping week off of nothing like usual. I’ll put up my own preview probably next Saturday or Sunday, but there’s about 6 days of nothing but… Penguin and Squid, which is airing about a week before the rest of the premieres start. HiguKira’s second episode is out this week though. Maybe it’ll be really slow to show up on the internet like OVAs tend to be sometimes. Oh well, I’ll think of something.
Yeah, yeah. Two weeks until the new season begins and Madhouse’s long, nightmarish attempts to create Marvel shows reaches its final season. Finally. Have we really endured an entire year of them already? Full writeup with promos, CMs, etc, will be up next week, same bat time, same bat channel.
