Gen has joined the party!

The episode starts with Yoshi finding out that Gen’s a good guy sent to help him out by his brother, and before they can come to more blows, Tokine smacks the two around with some barriers and yells at Gen for causing problems before he fears her mighty power of estrogen and runs off. Yoshi spends the rest of the day frustrated at being smacked around by both Gen and his woman while Gen introduces himself to the two households.

Yoshi’s grandfather is meanwhile off meeting with a specialist about the dirt he snagged and sealed a couple episodes back. It’s about as interesting as you’d expect a conversation about demon dirt to be. Maybe even more so, but I’d hate to get hopes up.

Yoshi comes home and immediately tries to pick a fight with Gen again, only to invite the wrath of his father. During the night, Gen suits up in his ninja gear and talks with Masamori a bit about his mission at Karasumori while Masamori simultaneously toys around with a demon.

Yoshi and Tokine are fighting a demon lizard over at the school which is moving entirely too fast for him to catch. He tries to lasso it and gets dragged around. They lose track of it and then a huge evil energy shows up. They run to find it, only to see Gen standing over the demon lizard… completely dismembered. Yoshi tells him that demon hunting is the business of the kekkaishi (and a great job you were doing there, squirt) and Gen basically tells him to shut up.

Then we get to see good old MiB evil fellow and some bitchy lounging demon women be all generically evil and plotty.
