Impressions:

This episode was kind of all over the place. It began with Yuki and Sen laying down the law and telling the slaves to make out with Muneakira for their powerups because now things are getting super cereal. Which led to them practicing kissing on each other. Then Jubei got all freaked out by kissing without love, which was interrupted by another naked Yagyuu appearing out of the sky and falling into Muneakira’s lap. Most of the rest of the episode was her trying to bang Muneakira until she kicked Sen’s hindside. Then Jubei popped up, gave a speech about how cool people were, and Yagtwo fell in girl love with Jubei. EPISODE OVER. SEEYA NEXT WEEK FOR THE GIRL NAMED CHARLES.

So… yeah. I’m not really sure what to make of this. Yagtwo just seems completely unneeded and every time they were starting to go somewhere interesting (and I’m counting Matabei and Hanzou’s practicing as interesting), the show violently careened in another direction entirely. Plus of course, another random girl from the sky eight episodes in is… bizarre at best. I kept waiting for some sign that it was a transparent ploy from Sen’s brother instead of… well… absolutely nothing relevant to the main plot, but… nada. Just another in the long line of things ending with the characters going "Jubei, what are you?" Except now she has a lesbian cuddlebuddy. Naoe ranting about random things didn’t really help matters either. She needs to either become relevant or go running back to Sen’s brother already. Or turn back into a tentacle monster. Sheesh. Since when is a tentacle monster a good option?
