This shifted gears abruptly.

Impressions:

What a nothing of a tournament. Literally just one fight, and both sides kind of simply declared that they'd be their strongest and do their best, and then it was over and immediately everyone's off to celebrate Christmas. Yes, really. We really just wanted to do the training bits and didn't even want to half-ass actual fighting, huh? I still don't actually remember if this Sephiroth dude was… uh… existent during the first season. There was a tournament there too. Did he win after the girls dual KOed or something? I legitimately do not remember in the slightest.

Which isn't to say that there weren't still its now consistently completely insane moments, especially in the OP. "Have you realized?" "Yes, they're all wearing special STRENGTH underwear." Wait, what? Hold on, you mean the dudes? You're seeing this with your wizard eyes? You're all using your x-ray vision to peep on the dude's underwear? Am… Am I understanding this correctly? And there's this random other girl, also peeping on everybody, who keeps announcing that he mission is to unlock Ray's power level, but she actually wants to… uh… hang out with Amelia or something? Fight her, maybe? Again, I have no idea, and couldn't even tell you if I'm supposed to know who she is, or why the elf girl is throwing a tantrum, but is also the grand poobah of not-Christmas, or what the plot is even supposed to be at this point.
