Commit one way or the other. It's not even like they're saying anything that isn't obvious by context clues, like "watch out, giant worm" or "come this way."

It's just the usual Fushigi Yuugi or Inuyasha schlock though. A particularly helpless damsel this time, who instantly physically throws herself at the dude and by the end of the episode has sworn her soul and entire being to him despite the sum total of anything happening was one random pulsating worm. Which is another point of bizarre juxtaposition where she panics and yells that she can't abandon her old life, then immediately thinks wait, maybe I should. He is my one and only after all. Teens, am I right? He, meanwhile, broods. Cool characters. I think I connect most with the dead worm.
