Because analingus on a cat wasn't enough.

Impressions:

Remember those episodes with a bunch of insane cultists who wanted to murder everybody? I miss those. They gave me characters I could connect with. Ones who wanted to murder everyone. Which I'm fast getting on board with thanks to the introduction of every single character getting a themed mascot pet. That's what the show needed. Obnoxious mascot pets. Which it understands are obnoxious, because it announces that repeatedly, says it'll stop doing that… as a joke… and then we go to all the other array of mascot pets who are still doing it. So it has, in no way whatsoever, stopped doing the thing that it just spent a minute explaining was irritating.

The really incredible part of this episode is that they felt there was so much content that they had to cut the ED to make time to fit both the insert songs in. Which they played right in a row. There's five straight minutes of just sitting there listening to Aquagirl sing about friendship. Which is her entire schtick, still. And then she scampers right off again back into the background, likely to never be seen again except for the occasional popup gags.
