Impressions:

Hooooooly hell. This episode was a pure infodump, which is a catastrophe to start with, but spent the entire time being The Worst Thing Ever™. We start with the reveal that actually, Akira was completely fine after the shooting back in episode 0, but it was Towasa who was critically injured. How was she injured? She got shot in the uterus and could no long give Akira biological babies. Her entire life was ruined. Because she could no longer have his babies. I want to repeat that a few more times out of sheer disgust, but christ. Eventually, they reconciled, invented nanomachines that they injected into the entire population of the world, as you do, and literally the next day, someone figured out you could hack them to take control of them and they accidentally set off a second global apocalypse. It's halfway through the episode at this point, and she's already completely destroyed society like three times over. Twice because SHE COULDN'T HAVE THE PROTAGONIST'S BABIES.

This is the part where I would normally say "but wait, it gets worse." And I will. It gets worse. She invents Skynet, which immediately declares that it will cleanse the world of all impurities and so launches every nuke and destroys the world a fourth time. But wait, it gets worse. Because then she hooks up with a bunch of scientists to create a harem of killer androids to stop the war and bring peace. And wouldn't ya know it, but they end up conquering the world and establishing the fascist regime that has currently enslaved the world. So… five times she's destroyed society. At which point she vanished. Okay, guys. This woman has personally caused more apocalypses at this point than Dr. Wily. At some point, you've got to say enough is enough. All because SHE COULDN'T HAVE A DUDE'S BABIES.
