Shocking. Well, not really.

Impressions:

All of a sudden, a lot about this becomes quite clear, especially as relating to the fandom. The start was only part of it. Since we're halfway through, we have to escalate from the last time we did the upperclassman kidnapping them, so they get to attack a couple times before the upper-upperclassmen show up to tell everybody to knock it off. Oh, and I guess they chopped off a hand too. Which was the real foreshadowing for the stupidity to come with a whole paragraph of explanation about how she was going to slice through time and space. This after the paragraphs about how everything was according to plan, what the plan was, so on and so forth. Talking really is the free-est of all actions.

But then we go from the secret puppet master to the secret secret puppet master, the Snape wannabe, who comes with his own paragraph and villainous speech about how much of a villain he is and how he's going to do all these villainous things because he so badly wants to be a villain, to be followed by another few paragraphs of imagining how the fight would play out, to be followed by another paragraph about how this was all a revenge plot by the protagonist to murder the entire school faculty. That's right. It's another one of these power fantasies, complete with excessively long torture scene. They even have adorable costumes to play dressup with so you know how deadly serious they are. When they're wearing their little masks with the frills on it.
