Oh goodie. This show yet again.

Impressions:

Supposedly this thing has been growing in popularity for the last couple years as reincarnation cheat powers start to decline. Except that it too is reincarnation cheat power. She gets reincarnated into a book where she knows everybody's secrets and future events. Yeah, it's not level 9999, but it's still a super power and means that they're going to spend a godawful amount of time staring blankly as they internally narrate the entire backstory of herself, her new self, other peoples' selves, so on and so forth. And of course, as usual, she is a minor character or villainess doomed to die and would rather not.

This would be of the soap opera drama flavor rather than goofy comedy. To answer the title, because the duke's the protagonist of the novel. But he's conniving… in some way. Not only is this just a big ball of banal cliches, but it's also extraordinarily slowly paced. Could've played up how the fiance is secretly murderous and creepy at the very least, but even that is too much effort for the makers of this show. But rose petals falling around everywhere as soon as the two main characters are on screen together? Let the tropes fly.
