My ears already ache.

Impressions:

I know I've said similar things in the past, but there is a very hard upper limit to the amount of emotional piano/violin music that I can stomach, and this whole episode appears to be an exercise in seeing if an extremely loud piano can carry an entire episode. It's like sitting in a hotel lobby right next to the speakers piping in elevator music, drowning out all the voices. Occasionally, they'd lose control of the music and both it and the character would start shouting, going from piercing chimes to just plain deafening. I think they sensed things were getting dull too, because all of a sudden, 17 minutes into the episode, the piano was thrown out and they let a trumpet have a solo before once again abruptly deafening. It was not achieving the pleasant haze of mundane blandness that the show was clearly going for.

It was just a very, very boring episode. The lady has the personality of dried paste. The dude has the personality of awkward dried paste, but sometimes shouts, so is also more annoying. The only joke or visual… anything… is that it pastes a generic blizzard effect on screen every 15 seconds. The story is that these two people exist near each other. Not even the thinnest amount of soap opera or character growth/drama is sought nor achieved. They exist. Revel in the pun we came up with for the title, because that's all you're getting.
