And budget has gone to 0.

Impressions:

More mincing over how totally important everything is done through mincing around and telling each other that. Half the episode spent mincing over how Whose His Unimportant Face is still in prison and perhaps that's not fair and/or someone should do something about that. And then, a barely animated prison break/sick princess kidnapping that will just be continuing on next week, when someone might actually do something other than ambush helpless mooks or sulk in a cell, but no doubt still just as full of heads of unimportant characters yapping interminably away. I see no path forward for redemption for this show at this point. About all it can hope to do is go balls to the wall with the action from here on out and that has approximately a -25% chance of happening.

    I am all out of rage, disappointment and the like with this show and Komugi and Saya’s unfortunate face in Dagashikashi.

    Okay that last one’s not true, Saya looks like somebody was trying to draw vocaloid’s future-style rin, forgot to add the face and then hastily scribbled one in while weaving through freeway traffic.

    But Utawarerumono, man, I just want this show to stop existing and ruining my enjoyment of the original series. Glad you got more than three frames out of the next episode preview though.

      It makes it even worse already knowing that the game ending is pure 100% sequel bait, so this probably won’t even actually wrap up in any way, shape, or form.

      Not that there’s anything at all TO wrap up.

      IMHO Saya from Dagashikashi is cute. she looks like a more athletic Tomoko(WataMote)mixed with just a hint of shark design(like rin in free or those swimmers in medaka box)

    for fuck sake its episode 22,even if they expect to get more eps its just unfair to torment people like that.whole ep could have fit into 5-7 minutes especially if they did not include the fat guy playing with his new mask

    Faffing around has evolved to the point where they can make a 25-episode show about what would normally be a show’s premise.
