Fantastic design aesthetics.

Semi-Impressions:

On the back of Fafner and Tokyo Ghoul being somewhat dreadful in their own ways for the last two weeks, I gave this a third (technically fourth) look, but all that did was convince me that I would enjoy myself covering Material Brave Ignition about ten times more than this. Same setting and story, except that somehow, inexplicably really, MB’s characters aren’t as goddamned dull nor do they make me want to strangle them constantly. Oh, and it’s somehow more animated than this. That was a pretty awesome battle. I liked when the giant CGI thing just sat there as it was attacked. And then it sat there some more. And then it farted and they were all rocked by the menacing still and somehow got dirty. While it was farting in the ocean. I… don’t want to think about that too much.
