Why adapt when you have ctrl-c, ctrl-v?

Impressions:

Oh, had we not finished our tour of the girls? I thought we had. How naive of me. If they didn’t get five minutes all to themselves last week, they did this week. And if they did get their five minutes last week, then they pretty much just showed up to remind us that they (and their panties) still existed. You could also almost hear the iron gates slamming down in the middle for Dësïgnätëd Comëdy Tïme. The bits with Makina screaming and making faces during her portion were also a bit… excessively obviously just cut and pasted from the visual novel source by the way her reactions were all delayed until after the previous line was finished. Adapt? To a different medium? Pfft! That would be changing something. That displeases Space Goat!

    I want to watch this anime because I’m intrigued by the plot….. but all those unnecessary panty shots it just a turn off…… and it’s not just because I’m a girl, in fact I was just as turned off by their bit of ‘fan service’ for the ladies by showing MC naked….. I was shouting ‘cover that up!’ the entire scene….. *sigh* now I just need to figure out if sitting through the panty shots and naked dudes will be worth it for the plot…….

          But I stated I was equally turned off by both…. not sure how that makes me a homophobe…..
          Also the only reason is because it’s all unnecessary fan service. It just all feels so miss placed and like they could use that time for developing plot instead of what color panties which character is wearing… (I mean, is that really important to the plot?) It’s just a pet peeve of mine.

    Yeah, nowadays the VN’s out there used the Fan service to much now. That it have no strong effect in the Animes. Today they need to invest more on the Story they want to tell, and the World. Just tossing Fan service, where the Fans saw enough in VNs (and more), you not getting win a Price anymore.

    See, DxD Highshool. Sure they have many Opai and Panty shoots, but the Story can shoulder it all

    For such a long awaited adaptation the production values are pretty awful.

    Even the pantyshots are poorly executed in my considered opinion. Vulvas just aint that shape.

    They adapted this well… maybe a little too well.

    Is there even a director in this show? They act like robots . Dat delayed reaction is like watching Dora, they’re wauting for the viewer’s response to their “joke”.

      with this pace i think they will adapt only the common route and wont do the girls routes in this season

    Those chibi parts do seem a bit cheap.
    I just want Makina to bring out her funny English already.
