Boo, Glasses #03 — Personal Space

Screw comedy. Let’s do melodrama!
Impressions:
So, the first episode had a bunch of different setups to keep things moving and fresh. The second episode had a more traditional two, split at the CM break. This episode had one. Is next week going to be the start of a two episode arc? Last week was padded enough and this even more so. By the time they actually got to a joke or two about the ghost inappropriately haunting whose-his-face, bloody fifteen minutes into the episode, I had already been clock gazing for the last ten.
And it was only a minute or two before launching into a tragic backstory too, complete with emotions and junk for the remainder of the episode! You’d think someone would have pointed out that this was probably not the place for it, but apparently not. Maybe it’s because the director didn’t show up for work, as this was just visually bland, padded out as all hell, and toward the end, not even trying to be funny in any way. Practically a checklist of the opposite things I initially liked about the first episode. Lord help me because it’s convinced me to give Walkure one more shot. At least writing about cat balls beats writing about bloody well nothing.
Next Episode:
If you’re reading this, then I’ve forgotten to change the template.
