Rozen Maiden #04 — Jun Service
July 25th, 2013
No. You shouldn’t have. Really.
Impressions:
I think this may be it for me. In the last three episodes, the most exciting thing has been Jun going fabric shopping with a golem sequestered in his backpack. Perhaps if they had something interesting in the preview to look forward to after the ‘cliffhanger’ of Spiderdoll crawling around, but no. They do not. They have the opposite of that. More goddamned tea, staring, walking around mostly empty rooms, and Jun reading magazines. No, Deen. Bad Deen. What’s the matter? Did the recap first episode scare you so much that you were afraid to have anything else happen in the rest of the show? Christ. I wouldn’t even call the first season well-paced and still managed to get to multiple dolls fighting, plus dog puppet detectives within the first three episodes. Even ignoring the recap episode, so far, you’re to "dolls" and even that only just barely.
And what the hell were you doing with her eyelashes at the start? Did whoever was coloring that entire scene just forget that they’re not blonde? A fluffy creepy blonde at that.
Next Episode:
If you’re reading this, then I’ve forgotten to change the template.

Sorry, but It isn’t deen’s fault. If you have to blame someone, blame peach-pit for the unwound world arc. The episode itself was a good adaptation of the 2nd manga
