Seriously? Mitts for throwing a tennis ball in a small room?

Impressions:

Not the most interesting of episodes. It probably peaked towards the middle with the tennis ball stuff and/or random Chizuru/Mafuyu BL stuff. The sudden blurting out of a random ‘touching’ moment was very Deen-like, although they still did a terrible job like usual of actually building to that instead of it being basically a non-sequitor compared to about 9 of the last 10 minutes. Most of the rest of the first segment was just boring. Kurimu and Ken hang out by themselves in the council room and the others just do sort of mini-schticks elsewhere.

The second half was only slightly more exciting than you’d expect a ten minute phone conversation to be. Ken’s stepsister, Ringo, is extremely squeaky and sounds like she’s constantly high, which makes a pain to listen to. At least she’s more with it than she sounds and isn’t above teasing him, although with the continued weak writing, she was kind of slipping back and forth between braindead and not. She ended her segment better than she started, but since she started as little more than an obnoxious squeak toy, I don’t know if you can count that as a win.
