Beware Honda’s cocks.

Pseudo-Impressions:

I wandered away from the laptop for about four or five minutes in the middle of this to make lunch. …And mostly concentrated on my delicious pizza sub after that too. Which is to say that it was not exactly the most engaging thing I have ever watched. As you’d expect from Aria’s director, it was very very full of girls giggling, blushing, and relaxing music. Also, since it’s funded by Honda, a close up of a CG motorbike with the Honda logo about once per minute. Besides that, and the horrendously awkward CG road/scenery trail at the end of the episode though, it was fairly well made, just incredibly vapid with even less meat to it than even Queen’s Blade manages, and that wasn’t a breast joke.

It did have a few cute and amusing moments though in between the weird shots of scenery and daydreams of traffic lights and crocodiles, so I figure it’s at least worth noting the OVA’s existence if you like these kinds of things, which I know some people do. It could’ve used a lot more daydreams, attack chickens, crocodiles, and weirdly placed jumpsuit-unzipping-breasts-bursting-out and a lot less of girls having tea while looking meaningfully at scenery if it wanted to hold my attention though. The actual DVD releases may have a bit more to them be a little longer but they’re not out until November/December I believe. *shrug*
