MLA: Total Eclipse #06 — “This Week In The Yukon…”

"Welcome to Island!!"

Impressions:

Aaaah, the swimsuit episode. In a show that takes place in Alaska. About racists who can’t get along long enough to work together to fight gigantic genitalia aliens who have the Earth on the verge of destruction. There are just some Japanese things stronger than any penis monster can hope to stop. And even better than that, apparently they’re making an entire arc out of it since Yuuya and his women still aren’t rescued by the end of the episode. At least it’s incredibly stupid so I can sort of doze off and/or just enjoy the incredibly slick oily and shiny T&A.

Nothing too particularly surprising or special here. The first half is spent gawking at breasts and crotches, as well as the camera being drawn on them, and just in case you missed what the show was doing, the resident horny guy saying "Check out all these tits." The second half had Yuuya and Yui separated from everybody else, having to take care of their personal imported Russian bride and starting to bond over it, as well as Yui’s creepy dreams and abandonment issues. She continues to be whiny and irritating though. "Carry me to shelter while I’m injured? Eeek!" At least the rain probably covered her moistness from being picked up and in close proximity to the protagonists magical trauma-healing penis.

    I begin to see now, why this Anime got a new Director. At first Tons of Gun Power shootings. Great Action. Pif Paf everywhere (i overdrawing). Then…. nothing. Just Practice Fights until now.. Made High Hopes at beginning and now… Beach Swim gears and “Damsel in Distress”, and 2 at same time.. Dam, should he be lucky or have mercy?…

    Errrr, arrr, isn’t the humanity you know…facing their extinction in a fight agaisnt space invaders? What is doing this people in the beach? I could understand if Yuuya,sorry I meant Bridges, was impregnating the girls to continue the species, but it doesn’t seem the case.

    It’s just the main location.

    Who stole the boat mystery theory?

    A)The West Indians stole the boat.They were all stranded on love triangle island.I didn’t see any at the base.
    B)The BETA stole the boat.They didn’t want to be eat anyone on love triangle island due to getting ill on lust
    C)Yui faked her ankle injury when Yuuya carried Cryska to safety,sent the boat out to sea and ran back and played possum.She wanted to be stranded on love triangle island.
