My only weakness!

Impressions:

Dull episode. I’m not sure why we had to have a second "aliens speak alien languages!" in two weeks… and it also seems like something that somebody should’ve worked out awhile ago… You know, somewhere between building portals between planets and worrying about mass gremlin infestations on their planet. They were also hitting the relationship nonsense pretty hard again. "Remember how you guys were totally a thing? Well we’re not going to tell you what happened. Aren’t you sooooooooo totally interested in finding that out now?" No. No I am not. Not even in the slightest.

The second half was mostly a clusterdump of all kinds of inane ‘twists.’ Superboy’s apparently eternally young and because of that he’s the one that got fussy in the britches, and Gar in this continuity is the kid from the Queen Bee episode who got MM’s blood and a chunk of her powers from it and goes catatonic whenever he sees waterfalls. Worst superweakness ever. I also like how they went from "How could they build a base out here without SCIENCE COMMAND knowing" to driving around an entire carrier full of tanks through the jungle. For that matter, I had a hard time whenever they said anything about SCIENCE COMMAND. MM mindraping one of the gremlins also seemed juuuust a bit out of character, but hey, at least that means… annoying info dump and flashback most likely next episode. Stellar.
