Impressions:

About what I expected. Just a clusterblitz of about five social links all at once without much effort put into it. Sayoko was probably the most amusing of them because she was the most melodrama-free of the group. Seriously, if not for Tanaka and the Super Fishing Ultra Deluxe Omega Special with Social Link level up music (and then battle music for catching the fish… which I think meant that Yuu had just lost it at that point), this would have pretty much just been an endless parade of "My life’s sad" for the first 15 minutes or so until the wrapup at the end. Yuu’s popped collar still makes me chuckle at least.

The wrapup at the festival was at least sort of clever in how things sort of came together. Only sort of though. Yuu still just bounced from the end of one social link to the next and when they couldn’t think of a social link to toss in, they had the delivery girl show up out of nowhere with ice in what was ostensibly a serious scene seconds before. Some didn’t even really have that. Sayoko was just kind of… there. At least she wasn’t being a ball of angst like all the rest, but it very much felt like she was just there so they could check her off as existing with the show’s universe.

And it’s on to Persona 3 next week. At least everyone gets ‘drunk.’
