Fat Cat on an Igloo

January 2nd, 2012

No, I didn’t actually jump into the series some 40 episodes in, but it’s a slow day and this was a fairly disappointing (and sparse) Comiket as far as games were concerned. I can’t even enjoy MBAACC like I should because it seems to think that only lepers would be using a wireless connection. I can’t even remember the last time I had a wired connection. Oh well, all the more time to work on other things and sacrifice livestock to the sun god in hopes that my fellowship goes through.

Finished the third season just in time for the fourth. I’m happy women are buying this in droves, thus validating more seasons, because I can’t forsee this ever having a proper ending. Nyanko-sensei isu rabu~

    Natsume is hipster anime.

Hipster anime don’t get 4 seasons.

      • Jack says:

        It does and it did.

“Natsume” is the quintessential example of hipster anime. It’s like the Dubstep of anime at the moment. You see episodes of this show streaming on iPhones and iPads at Apple retail stores in between PBR commercials. The coffee shop din is all about Natsume.

Look for a Starbucks “Natsume Fat Round Cat” dark roast very soon.

Funny, you’re literally the only person I’ve ever seen use the word “hipster” 100% seriously.

  • Dana says:

With this series, it doesn’t really matter when you jump into it. Some people think it is slow, but I find if I let the atmosphere seep into me I enjoy the pace.

  • Travis says:

Livestock? Call me old fashioned, but blood works best with the obsidian knife of Tenochtitlan. You get more bang for your buck and it works wonders at intimidating those around you! Bonus points if you’ve got a skull rack in the background. We’re rooting for you!

You could always sacrifice one of us to Boethiah or any other Daedric Prince of your choosing.

  • Nan says:

    SUN FOR THE SUN GODS!

…that made a lot more sense in my mind.

  • The Phantom says:

I think I dropped this on episode 1 on the first season, no idea why this has so many seasons its was boring and it seems to have slowed down even further.

    • Dana says:

Comes down to taste, and more importantly…mood. It bored me the first time I tried watching it but when I picked it up again I loved it.
