Shana â…¢ #03 — Deja Vu

October 21st, 2011

You have got to be kidding me.

Impressions:

ANOTHER episode of recap, now with a buttload more recycled footage from previous seasons as Yuuji and the other characters wandered around the city thinking about their pasts. I should have known it was not going to end well when the episode began with literally an entire minute of watching Yuuji get off the train… and then cut over to Eita, but this is… ugh. Move forward. Stop wallowing in the past and assuming that pre-existing fans of the show are too stupid to remember every single character and event. There are shows five times longer than you that do not spend this much time recycling what has already happened. If something becomes relevant, then bring it up AT THAT TIME in a BRIEF bullet point, but even then I still cannot bloody believe some of this crap could ever possibly be relevant again. No, you are not fooling me with these aborted training sequences using FIRE HAND either.

Boy, I sure can’t wait for the show to begin next week.

this must be like the fourth time we see baby rinne and this time it looks the worst

  • Nanaya says:

Oh wow. I mean, just wow. Even Dragonball Z did a smoother job of stalling for time.

  • TEd says:

What a terrible fucking show should have not made another season bet this shit company needed money fuck this trash.

  • Kaisos says:

I’m glad I decided not to watch this. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Shana was good when I was 17. It’s certainly not now.

  • Keith Kurogane says:

    Recap? RECAP?!
At least that knight armor still looks awesome…

  • Embok says:

    Honestly, I need the recap.

Unfortunately as you said they recapped seemingly insignificant or basic things like Yuji being a torch and meeting a magical girl. As opposed to the things I actually need more clarification on like what happened toward the end of the second season that led into Yuji suddenly being a bad guy.
