A Dark Rabbit Yada Yada #05 — Dirty Talk

August 5th, 2011

Real sexy, Himea.

Ugh. Niconico changed the way they stream, so I had to pull this manually, which I really didn’t want to do, so put it off hoping for a clean copy as long as possible until I caved, at which point, the moment I finished, a clean copy appeared. Oh well. This has been a trial.

Impressions:

You know, I have to go with Taito on this one. Himea really needs to work on her dirty talk. Never mind floating in neon-glowing space that would give even a disco-goer and migraine with pulsating tentacles all around them, "There are giant winged moon gods coming to destroy the world and eat me… let’s do it and never stop." I’ve heard sexier. I was wondering what Gekkou was doing last week, and it was apparently just having a chat with said moon gods who have the unsurprising prophecy that the world’s going to end at the hand of some witch, who is probably another one of Himea’s personalities stashed away in the clown car full of genocidal maniacs that she calls a brain.

Unfortunately, it all came down to Taito using the power of love to save the day… again. From a hold-over spell/horny personality that wants to destroy the world, which is such a drastic difference from the last one Taito beat with the power of feeeeelings who just wanted to kill everybody. It’d be more interesting if Himea was just another fabricated personality too, but I’m sure that’s expecting far too much from this show. I did find it funny how he did it without actually ever saying how he felt, just apologizing for never telling her and that he liked her smile. Way to not commit.

“Huh, yeah, how about that. Good for her.”

It says a lot about desensitization (and the anime communities online) that I feel nothing on seeing a gory being-devoured apocalypse fetish acted out. There’s just so much more messed up and disturbing its not worth the energy to react. I should probably reflect on that and stop going on irc.
