Really Long Fish Title #01 — Big Balls

April 1st, 2026

At least nobody's reincarnated. Yet.

Impressions:

This managed to be even worse than expected, on every level. Okay, maybe not as far as animation goes. It was just as poor there as I thought it'd be. But the rest? She really legitimately has no thoughts in her head except "I need to find a man to marry to give my life meaning and purpose." They start with the standard engagement accusation trope, and end with it, all while the entire peanut gallery is waving their arms in the background that he's not even accusing the right person, which you'd think would pass for humor, but by music and dramatic flashbacks, is supposed to be taken as mostly the big emotional moment for the protagonist.

And the rest? The jokes are the usual over explainations where the punchline is announcing that an over explaination has happened, and she effortlessly charms the GOOD prince with her pluck and spunk. To the point of having a ballroom dance with him in the middle of the courtyard. Filled with pastels and sparkles. It's yet another villainess thing without a single thought to be any different, any better, or make any changes to the formula whatsoever. A pale imitation of what might've once worked, xeroxed at this point so many times that whatever good existed in the original premise has faded into an indistinct smear.
