Slave of the Elite #23 — Behold, An Egg

Tentacle spam has to come from somewhere, I guess.
Impressions:
Better constructed than the other show's big fight, but Passione's A game on animation is still mediocre at best. Can't believe I'd be missing Seven Arcs half-assing the first season, but at least neither side just stood there and emitted vortexes or explosions while repeatedly announcing that they intend to fight. Also not surprising that she lives on in fanservice mindspace, now with extra fanservice. There definitely needed to be a reason why he's decided to suddenly start hiding her instead telling everybody like usual, above and beyond "for the T&A."
Uneventful conclusion otherwise, and it barely even feels like it was one without grand dramatic speeches or huge music. Not sure if that's Passione's lack of effort or them realizing that not a whole lot actually happened here with the characters or story. If this was the initial arc of the season, I'd probably be less annoyed, but we were stuck in two months of training arcs and board meetings. For characters who didn't even bother to show up for the final fights. Why did we spend entire episodes on them again? There should be some reason besides "for the T&A."
