Five different bakeries on one block, huh?

If you're curious about Samurai Troopers, the original guy is just possessed, so everyone goes home and back to the hyperbolic VR time chamber to train some more. And I mean that literally. The baddies full on said "We're leaving, but we'll be back in a week, so finish your training." …Yeah, we're done there.

Impressions:

With the jenga bit, very reminiscent of way too many other bad school harem shows of its ilk, but a just plain frustrating and repetitive episode in general. Whether it was the gag of being interrupted and hiding under the bed, everybody buying a cake, the montage of all the girls in casual cosplay, or just that once again it teases progress on any front only to do nothing. If it 'worked' the first time, why not do it three or four more times, all in a row? And then, to end things, recap. Where are they all individually going at 7pm at night that there are five separate cake stores within walking distance of one apartment building? Why are they all even splitting up in the first place?

The only positive thing I can really say is that at least they're being open with each other. That's one bit of obnoxious drama headed off at the pass. Still kneecapped by not allowing anything to grow and develop, and everything being as superficial as it is though. Can't say I have much hope for whatever arc comes next, but at least this horrid school festival… and jenga… nonsense is over.
