Impressions:

The big question I have about this episode is how he drained an entire glass of soda in half a second through a straw. It was… not a very interesting one, despite being a hard swerve into something different… and yet, also not really different at all. The entire thing was a flashback to his origin story with the sisters, including introducing two other new girls, though as much attention was given to his melancholy friend as either of them, and replacing her teasing dynamic with a more typical… uh… sexual assault magnet one with all the standard dumbass "grab, gag, and accidentally grope her" bits was not an improvement in the slightest. Especially when the artsy fartsy music girl was carved from the same mold.

Just a dull episode really, where he's told to meddle and does bad anime cliches. We all know how it ends anyway, and there really doesn't seem to be any twists or turns to come, like he was dating the headband oral-fixation girl and something happened or whatnot. I dunno, I'm spitballing. Still slightly more tolerable than the Chitose show just because it's not wall to wall worshipping the ground this guy walks on. At the same time, his 'meddling' thus far is the same superficial dumb part of last week's resolution, just telling the sort of but not actually sad girl to knock it off and get some friends, so I can't say its attempts at inspiration teenage drama are working well either.
