Chitose in Ramune #03 — So Anyway, About My Bra
October 21st, 2025
Very organic flow of conversations here.
Impressions:
I'm giving up here. This ain't SeiZon. Hell, I might even make unfavorable comparisons to The Smurfs. It's so damn patronizing, and it's trying to address existential teenage angst by just going "Hey, stop being so mopey." I'll be first in line to say that I find mopey characters generally obnoxious, but if you're going to make them the centerpiece of the story, and healing them/bringing them out of their shell the protagonist's life work, then you better be bringing something more to the table than "Look how awesome I am. Don't you want to be awesome too?" It just makes me think of certain godawful sitcoms or kids cartoons when they try to confront things like racism or bullying. "Hey, you just tell them that they hurt your feelings, and that's not okay. They'll apologize and then you'll be friends." That stops working for anything actually serious at about age 5, if not earlier, and never for outright sustained hostility, particularly with comically evil bully squads out there just to bully out of jealousy over how awesome the hero is.
All this without getting into any of the trashy as hell side parts either. Look at how flexible I am. Boy, maybe you should touch me more and all over while I stretch and grunt. Now let's talk about bras. Sure would be good practice to know all about bras considering my great breasts. Come on. The friend's sister made me feel less ick than this and it had actual cleavage and gratuitous squish.
