At least the action is staying shockingly well animated and choreographed.

Impressions:

Still waiting for this show to stop meandering around the gate and actually get going. This week, they go to an AI crypto-bro's rave where they… force the twink to dress up like a woman so they can make the gag that he's more attractive than the woman. Repeatedly. With excessively animated weird fake boob animations and so he can be creeped out by all the dudes hitting on him. Yep. High level humor here. Maybe next week they can bring out Hard Gay. Going right into mass date rape attempts and then a slap fight. So goes the first 15 minutes. A complete waste of time.

Thankfully, at almost exactly the 15 minute mark, they kicked whoever was writing the thirty year old bad crossdressing jokes out of the room and spend the rest of the episode on gun-kata martial arts and chase animation. So at least there were five minutes of the episode worth watching for the visuals, which is more than either of the two previous episodes. But the first 15 minutes was an ordeal, and there's no story to speak of despite every single goddamned episode ending with the declaration that this new lead will not be a random wild goose chase. Even that wouldn't be so damning if there were actual episodic stories that were focusing on developing the characters or a cohesive even 10 minute story, but that would cut into our "ha ha, dude in a dress unwillingly" joke time.
