Impressions:

If you squint and look at it juuuust right, you could probably make the case that this is some kind of weird thriller. It has a boy band living in an Umbrella Corp compound where they're constantly being monitored and have hazy memories of weird experiments done on them by shadowy scientists. But then you un-cross your eyes and remember that about 90% of the episode is the pretty boys gossipping about breakfast and going to the dance studio to have a mini-musical montage about how hard they're dancing with all their emotions, but they need to dance extra together in order to awaken their true majesty.

Just a boy band thing, with extra emo instead of comedy. Not the rarest thing. Wasn't there some other sci-fi show a season or two back with androids doing basically the same thing? These all start running together pretty fast. It didn't inflict any awful CGI dance sequences in episode at least. Can't say the same for the opening, although the animation for the little part that they did animate looked like it was legitimately missing most of the frames, so I'm not even sure I could say it was CGI or just hilariously badly animated.
