Please, the yelling. I've had enough.

Impressions:

Her giant hair is really distracting, especially in all the closeup shots where it's her face and an entire wall of hair behind her. But I welcome the distraction as this is a comedy that relies heavily on high volume for its punchlines, and shrill reedy recorders as the background music to create a sense of whimsy. The audio is grating, to say the least, and makes it compare very unfavorably to, say, that GoHands show about a sardonic cat rather than one constantly yelling, and its capable but slovenly owner rather than this one who's unable to go five seconds without whimpering, mewling, yelling, or all three simultaneously. 

It's just standard gag based comedy. Someone says or does something, the other party yells loudly. The only part I perked up a little is when the obvious romantic interest dumped a cup of water on the jerk girl, but I'd hate to give the impression that I had any positive feelings about the sudden flashback to try to inject drama over her bullying history. You just spent the last 15 minutes making jokes about the alien cat doing it, but now it's a source of horrible trauma that should be taken seriously? That one dude was the closest thing to any substance in the show since the gag comedy part was not landing for me at all.
