This season is not off to a good start.

Impressions:

Another cookie cutter villainess show, as indistinguishable from all the others, AND another nonstop monologue from the protagonist's internal narration going through every single triviality of the setting. But now as a 10 year old with some creepy teenagers fawning over her which will 'become' more age appropriate after a time skip. Zero distinguishing characteristics here. Nothing even slightly creative in the story or setting. Animation is poor and generic. There is no reason for it to exist.

And so the mind wanders into thinking about more ways that this entire premise is completely broken and nonsensical. Hell, let's think about this as if it was historical fiction. "I'm a huge fan of Typhoid Mary and reincarnated as her, so I'm going to spread disease like crazy!" It's psychotic. But that reveals the underlying lie about the premise that the character is not actually a villain in any way. Or even an anti-hero. They're just melodramatic posers, to whom this is all a game. But at the same time, if it's meant to be a parody (again, of something that never existed), it's not trying to make any jokes either. There's only the rare silly face. It doesn't have the ambition to actually try to be anything. And so, all it can do is half-heartedly emulate.
