Impressions:

It's difficult to understate how utterly shamelessly transparent an advertisement this is, although the sequence where they handcraft every single wafer and then insert the collectable stickers with precision and loving care certainly gets close. And then they deliver these packages of processed sugar crap to a convenience store located in a completely empty field that is still somehow mobbed by children screaming in mania at their need to have a wafer. These aren't magical Willy Wonka candies. They're basically just peanut butter flavored naked kit-kats. 

Hope springs ever eternal to find another Galaxy Angel or Milky Holmes in one of these, where the producers are asleep at the wheel and everybody else decides to make some unhinged lunacy, but this is not it. It is every bit the godawful advertisement for some half-assed candy that it appeared to be. Alas. Next time, Gadget. Next time.
