The Capable Cat #03 — Cooking With Cats

I don't understand how people can be so bad at the most documented and explained thing in humanity.
Impressions:
Maybe the OP here is enough to carry the show. Well, I do genuinely think that it's probably better overall than Seven Spellblades and Genes of AI, but good lord, is there little to nothing to comment on in the episodes. I know that people being ridiculously bad at basic cooking is a common cliche, but as somebody who worked in a professional kitchen through most of college, it's such a weird thing to me. I can understand messing up like, a souffle or scallops, and I have both technically started an oil fire once and nearly sliced off a fingertip; familiarity breeds carelessness after all, but the joke is always inability to… crack an egg. Set a timer. Set the over temperature correctly. And a complete mountain is made out of that tiny ass molehill.
So goes the first half of the episode, and honestly, extends halfway through the second half for that matter. It doesn't really move on from that until 17 minutes in when it instead does five minutes on her getting a fever and being forced to stay in bed instead of going to work and sneezing on everybody. Which is a bit quaint in the covid era, and is another relatively joke free 'comfy' segment that is largely elevator music and shots of hallways. Fine, I guess, but what is there to say about it?
