Stop trying to make Botan happen.

Impressions:

This show is making a pretty good case that it's never going to do much of anything. If you thought that the cliffhanger at the end of last week meant anything, then good news, because it's the same cliffhanger that they use this week too. In between that, it's entirely dumb filler nonsense where Hyoma goes on a date with the mirror girl and talks about the least interesting character in the entire stupid show. This thick headed imbecile has more chemistry with literally every other female in the show than the pointless lump of contrivance that is Botan and no amount of faffing over her is going to change that.

And then, for the thrilling second half of the episode, the trio introduced last week kick in the door and… hang out. And Botan's friends kidnap Hyoma to… hang out. Forgive me for wanting this story about super powered monster hunters out for revenge to involve literally any of that at any goddamned point instead of being entirely children nonstop gossipping about who has a crush on who, especially when one of them might as well be a large sack of flour for all the presence and personality they have. And for once, it's not the numbskull dude.
