That dude tailor fits maid clothes quickly.
Impressions:
Well, it's nice that the writing abruptly went from way too slow to breakneck nonsense as I vastly prefer the latter, but it's hard to defend it as well. I don't want to do the math, but I feel like it may have introduced and killed off as many characters in this one episode as the other five combined. And yet, the first half was still really dull and all I can really remember from it was the weird shut-in girl who kept ranting about how much she likes sharks and being a shut-in.
Everything was in the second half really, but even then, it felt pretty haphazard because we jumped right from Polka being the only one with overt magical powers to apparently an entire cabal of secret mages and such. It was questionable with… *sigh*… Lemmings, but we jump straight from plausible deniability to magical pyromania hallucinations. I couldn't even tell you if the scar-faced dude who steals peoples' faces and has a magical electric-fire glove was supposed to be magic too or just some Mission Impossible nonsense. Nor why evil family dude kidnapped and executed one guy, but turned the other over to the police… to magically execute him. You're not giving off the air of a mastermind who knows what he's doing, my dude.
