All fish monsters should be so lucky as to die on a metric tonne of weed.

Impressions:

I know the fish monster was supposedly defeated by being dessicated by old cardboard, but I like to think that the marijuana did its part too. I do wish that whole sequence had been more of the episode though, as the vault kids took up way too much of it, and I still don't find them all that interesting.  And that's pretty much all they do this week, because the rest of their segment is back to schtick. I continue to wish a little more thought and effort was put into structuring this so that segments aren't ending anti-climactically 14 minutes into the episode and then meandering about for the rest.  

Anyway, vault kids. The place is run by a creepy pregnant AI (but I repeat myself), the vault babies are weird mutants (but I further repeat myself), and the one the story is following is having multiple existential crises at once over death, birth, and puberty. I think the issue for me is that she's just kind of bumming around, having constant freakouts as all the other random mutant children are basically bullying her into being curious and inquisitive. I'd rather be following frog girl exploring the underbelly of the dystopian nightmare than this kid freaking out about her dying plague friend trying to kiss her.
