Impressions:

Positives. No status screens or other "this is just like my RPGs stupidity." Fanservice is actually quite restrained, especially for having a masochist character who demands to be spanked. Zero gore porn either. Something sort of resembling at least a slightly different from usual story hook to go off of in investigating what went completely wrong in his absence. Protagonist spends zero time screaming or otherwise being an obnoxious creep. In theory, if you skipped this episode and just picked it up next week, you might not even know it was a reincarnation thing at all. End of list, and I'm frankly tired of being so overly complimentary about yet another one of these goddamned cheat-power power-fantasy things.

Animation is pretty godawful. The cheat power is maximum. The harem is aaaallll the way slobbering over his giant dick sword, and also, there is a giant dick sword to metaphorically swing around too for that matter. It is easily the least offensive and least obnoxious of the half dozen cheat power in Narnia things this season, and probably the one I could theoretically see turning out okayish if it actually does build off the scant seeds of a story, along with characters who can actually go toe to toe with the relatively subdued and no-nonsense hero… aside from the spankings and casual abuse… which is okay because she likes it. Just like all the good slave-wife owners and abusers rife in this subgenre. But I'd rather stick with the two heaven/hell things thus far since both have actual budgets and aren't resorting to slideshows in literally the very first non-fight scenes.
