Lotta violence in Akiba lately, huh?

Impressions:

Oh thank god, something that isn't absolutely godawful. It is, however, still very loud, especially that montage in the middle where for some reason, the volume got cranked up to absolutely deafening. You could actually call it a satire too, being basically a Terminator-esque post-apocalyptic story being told fairly straight with the :3-faced gestapo enforcing totalitarian rule against nerds. The resistance is run by a hero who has become dispirited with the futility of battle and his top lieutenants magical girls captured. Hell, even the annoying magical pet repeatedly dies.

I would say it's a breath of fresh air, but my ears and brain are very worn out from the six shows that came before it all also featuring loud noises being blasted at me, so let's call it a hot wind in the face. These loud noises are more explosions, gunfire, and hot-blooded shouts than screams for comical effect, without characters constantly yelling "THIS IS OUT OF PLACE FOR A POST-APOCALYPSE SETTING." Please. Continue just running with it. Do Judge Dredd totally straight with also murdering PreCure animals on the side and weird-ass magical girls who just want to blow things up. I am so down for that.
