Who let the Love Hina clone from 2004 in?

Six down, two to go. Plus perhaps the leak of a second episode early. God damn it.

Impressions:

Given the rest of the shows today, a protagonist who reacts to most things by flatly stating "you're all idiots" is a welcome change of pace. Now that's something that I can empathize with. Most, though, because it certainly started out with yelling and bad fanservice. And then spent most of the episode with one of them attempting to prostitute all the rest out for rent money. So, you know… we're very, very, very, very far from okay, and firmly in the realm of bad porn VNs from twenty years ago that have since fallen out of favor. Substitute the dead grandmother for a dead brother and it's nearly the word for word premise for Parfait.

Anyway, it's a dumb fanservice harem. A relative rarity these days without also being saddled with cheat power reincarnation nonsense, and even rarer to take place in the real world. It has boobs, butts, naked women censored by convenient little strips of light across the nipples and labia. The jokes are walking in on them naked, or situations that contrive to make them naked and horny. There's artsy spice, tsundere spicy, sporty spice, slutty spice, and mean spice. All the different flavors of T&A. Sometimes the protagonist yells. Sometimes the protagonist flatly calls them imbeciles. Those are the two jokes. That's what we in the business like to think of as mixing it up! It is not especially horrific given that the slavery and rape savors/inflictors of cheat power have dragged that line so low that it needs an excavator to unearth, but this episode at least is just trashy fanservice that feels like a relic from days now long past.
