I wish this was so much better than it actually is.

Impressions:

Eschewing the source to just be goofy is the right place for its head to be. Shows like Milky Holmes and Galaxy Angel far surpassed their sources by being over the top zany nonsense. Write some funny jokes and slot the characters in afterwards, or get completely over the top without regard for sense. This is making overtures towards that, but is so half-assed on the execution and doesn't actually seem to genuinely understand what a joke is, which is pretty damning for something trying to be a comedy.

This week, it's split into two halves. One an airsoft game against the moving crew, the second, basically turning the place into a Hooters. Neither are creative. Like, hell, you can go back to Comic Party Revolution for the paintball/airsoft gag-fights. But that also means there's a rich vein of jokes you could copy from in both. Instead though, the show simply… barely even tries anything, especially with the first segment. The second has the sidestory of the struggling rival bartender who they beat up and then force into drag where he immediately becomes an offensive stereotype, so that's probably even worse than nothing.
