Acts of God in a Godless World #01 — Handy Jobs

There's probably a very interesting interview coming about this show's production.
Impressions:
What on earth is with the CGI here? It is horrific. And in the weirdest ways. Every single animal is like something copy and pasted from some 90s Canadian cartoon, whether it's a fox wandering around the village, a horse dragging a wagon, or a giant angry sheep. It's possible the budget just didn't have anything in it for anything else. While not the absolute worst animated thing this season, it's certainly in competition. Every time anything more intense than someone screaming has to be animated, they cut to an RPG 'parody' instead. Usually while also screaming. All the budget appears to have gone into the reveal of the naked 6 year old goddess at the very end, which is also where the frame rate for some reason doubles.
The constant barrage of sex jokes also doesn't mix well with it taking a sharp right turn into pretending to be super duper serious and bloody melodrama at the end. Well, calling them sex jokes is a stretch. It's mostly "That's a……….. SEX BOOK." "POOOOOOOOOORRRRNNNNNN!?" The whole backhalf of the episode felt like a mess to me all around. Mind you, I think I prefer that over the yelling and explaining of tropes and how these tropes aren't being followed while slavishly following adjacent tropes, but especially the very end of the episode seems like it was supposed to be a whole 5-10 minute scene that had to be crammed into 20 seconds. Was it meant to be manic chaos after about 15 straight minutes of 'chaos' meaning YELLING VERY LOUDLY? I'm skeptical.

I found this one kind of funny, And the cgi made it completely hilarous
